The Book on Travel Fishing is compiled through first person interviews with captains and fishing lodge owners from around the world. The network of expertise spans the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans, the northern and southern hemispheres. It includes tournament winners, boat builders, charter captains, world record holders, lure makers, some of the most prolific billfish captains in the history of sportfishing, and owners of many of the finest sportfishing establishments in the world.
The book features the photography of Jessica Haydahl and Captain Joe Byrum and contributions by Pete Robbins. Elliott Stark wrote The Book on Travel Fishing. A fisherman and marine biologist, Elliott has fished on four continents, given talks on sportfishing and conservation around the world, and written hundreds of published articles in the fishing and travel space. Elliott started his career with The Billfish Foundation.
